Privacy & local saves

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Tapovibe’s self-developed games run in your browser. They do not require an account, ask for an email address, or include advertising. We count anonymous page views and game moments, explained below, and you can turn that off.

What is saved on your device

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your puzzle progress, completed levels, daily results, sound preference, and tutorial preference. This lets you close the page and continue later in the same browser. The catalog also remembers recently played games on this device.

These game saves are not uploaded by the game or synced to another browser or device. Shared devices and browser profiles may share the same saved progress.

Shield the Chick stores its level progress, stars and sound preference in separate browser storage. Its player sends gameplay events only to this same-origin page; Tapovibe does not send those events to analytics services. Temporary player diagnostics help detect loading failures in the current page session. They are not uploaded.

Brake Dash saves level progress, scores and audio preferences in this browser. Some storage keys retain its earlier internal name, “wreckrelay”, for save compatibility. Its embedded player does not register a service worker or send playtest reports. Player messages stay between the game and its same-origin host page.

Daily Letters keeps submitted guesses for up to 400 UTC dates and a separate practice round on this device. Word Trails keeps the word paths you have found in each theme. Sudoku keeps entries, notes and elapsed time for its twelve practice puzzles and up to sixty daily records, plus local best times. Idle Workshop stores production totals, sales, orders, machine settings and a timestamp to calculate capped away production. A browser-local lock prevents two tabs from writing the same workshop at once; it sends no data to us. Other studio games keep their documented progress, undo history or personal bests; each game uses its own save key.

You control your saves

You can remove saved progress using your browser’s settings to clear this site’s data. Doing so also removes completed levels and preferences. Private browsing, storage restrictions, or automatic browser cleanup may prevent progress from being kept.

If saving is unavailable, you can still play while the page remains open. The game displays a notice when it cannot save your progress.

Copying and sharing a result

When you choose Copy result, the game asks your browser to copy your result to the clipboard. It does not read your existing clipboard or post the result to another service. You decide whether and where to paste it.

Loading the website

Your browser connects to the website to download the game, its styles, and its locally hosted font. The game does not request access to your camera, microphone, or location. Optional sound is generated on your device.

Website delivery also involves the hosting provider and your network. This page describes the game’s storage and features; it does not promise that those services keep no connection logs.

Anonymous visit and game counts

We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics so we can see which games people open. For each page it reports the address, the referring site, your browser and device type, your country and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare describes this tool as using no cookies and no fingerprinting. It never sees your saves, scores or game moves, and we do not get an identity or a history for any visitor. Cloudflare keeps full detail for 7 days and samples it after that.

We also count game moments on our own Cloudflare storage: a game became ready, a play started, a level was won or lost, a retry, a load failure, leaving during a game, or moving to another game. Each count holds the game, the moment, sometimes a level number, and a rough age such as “first day” or “8 to 30 days since this browser first played”. The first day stays in your browser. We do not store your IP address, browser details, country or any ID, so counts cannot be joined into one person’s history. They are deleted automatically after three months.

Turning this off stops counting from your next page and clears the stored first day. We also skip counting when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or is set to a European time zone. Games work the same either way.

Help troubleshoot a game

Optionally record game steps in this tab, then download a report to help describe a problem. Nothing is sent automatically. Reports contain game names, event times and level numbers, without your saved boards or personal details.

Only the most recent 200 events are kept. Turning this off clears the report. Closing the tab normally clears it too; some browsers restore tab sessions.

Changes

If the game adds features that change how it uses data, this page will be updated to describe them.
