Match Orchard
A thoughtful swap. A generous harvest.

How to play Match Orchard
Swap neighboring fruit to make lines of three or more. Collect the requested baskets within each orchard’s move budget. Six original deterministic harvests introduce more fruit types and mixed collection goals.
- Only horizontal or vertical neighbors can swap. A swap that creates no match returns without using a move. Matching fruit disappears, fruit above falls, and new fruit grows from the top. Cascades belong to the same move.
- Four in a line leaves a marked row or column sweeper. Five or intersecting lines leave a 3×3 burst. Include a marked fruit in a later match to trigger it; special effects can trigger one another. The fruit kept as a new special is not collected yet.
- Meet every basket target before moves run out. Two stars require at least two moves left; three require at least half the original budget left. If no legal swap remains, fresh fruit replaces the board without changing your collected totals or spending another move.
Controls at a glance
- Touch or mouse
- Tap a fruit, then one of its four neighbors. Tap it again or Cancel selection to deselect. Input waits while a cascade settles.
- Keyboard
- Tab to the orchard. Arrow keys move focus; Enter or Space selects a fruit. Select a neighbor the same way to swap. Escape clears selection.
- Replay and progress
- Each orchard starts with the same layout and refill seed. Different swaps lead to different later boards. Switching orchards keeps each current attempt and best star count.
A few things worth trying
- Check which fruit your baskets still need. A large match of the wrong fruit can be less useful than a small match of the right fruit.
- Look for four-fruit lines to grow sweepers. A marked fruit is most useful when its row or column crosses fruit you need.
- A swap near the bottom can change several rows above it. Watch the entire cascade before planning the next move.
Good to know
Can every orchard be completed?
Every shipped starting layout has a verified legal sequence meeting its goals within the move budget. That does not make every choice recoverable; some attempts will run out of moves.
Does Show a swap solve the level?
No. It outlines one legal match, which may not be the best move for your remaining goals. It does not spend a move.
What happens if I reload during a cascade?
The accepted swap is saved before its animation. Reloading restores the fully settled result, so the move is neither lost nor counted twice.
What is saved?
This browser keeps your swap history for each orchard, the selected orchard and your best stars. Retry clears only the current attempt; best stars remain.
